Wow… 88 Cities was AMAZING!

 

The 88 Cities Summit convened local government leaders, businesses, and economic development professionals to address real-world challenges and create actionable solutions for economic growth, workforce development, and business attraction. 

The discussions focused on the power of collaboration, emphasizing the importance of public-private partnerships and regional cooperation in driving economic growth. A key topic was infrastructure and broadband expansion, highlighting efforts to close the digital divide and ensure all communities have access to the resources needed for success. Workforce development and talent pipelines were also central to the conversation, with a focus on preparing the workforce for the jobs of tomorrow. Additionally, participants explored climate and economic resilience, examining how cities are adapting to environmental and economic challenges. Lastly, the discussion covered business-friendly strategies, showcasing innovative policies that cities are implementing to attract and retain businesses, fostering long-term economic prosperity.
