This report is the second in a series of affinity-focused collections highlighting Black, Women, Latino, AANHPI, and LGBTQ leadership and their partnership across Los Angeles County. Building on the foundation established in the inaugural report, this edition shifts the lens from collective infrastructure to positional authority, examining the measurable influence of women within the institutions that power the regional economy.

Across governance, capital markets, healthcare systems, research institutions, infrastructure networks, and industry leadership, women are shaping economic outcomes at scale.

This report documents where women lead, how that leadership influences capital allocation, workforce alignment, procurement pathways, and economic system design, and how these dynamics strengthen a regional economy where leadership and life can coexist.

Read alongside the broader Affinity Report series, this report contributes to a multifaceted perspective on Los Angeles County’s economic present and future.
