Join civic leaders from across Los Angeles County for Catalyst to Impact: CJF LA Regional Summit—a convening on industry growth, good jobs, and inclusive regional investment.

This event’s program will also include an optional pre-summit aerospace & defense facility tour at Northrop Grumman’s Palmdale site (limited capacity). You can indicate interest in this tour during the registration process.

  • VIP Northrop Grumman Aerospace & Defense Tour (Optional): 8:30–10:30 AM (arrive by 8:15 AM for security check)
  • CJF Regional Summit Breakfast & Check-in: 10:30–11:00 AM
  • CJF Regional Summit Program: 11:10 AM–2:00 PM (approx.) 

What to Expect at the Summit

  • Plenary + industry-focused breakouts (Aerospace; Video Production & Distribution; Clean & Renewable Energy; Bioscience; Transportation & Logistics)
  • Action-oriented discussions on funding, partnerships, and workforce pathways
  • Networking with awardees, public agencies, and industry leaders
  • Light breakfast (10:30 AM) and lunch provided

Breakout Activity #1 Sign-Up: Panel Discussions

2. Unlocking Public Resources: Equitable Access to Government Partnerships & Funding

  • Learn how to tap into public resources and partnerships to ensure funding opportunities are accessible, inclusive, and community-centered.

3. Pathways to Opportunity: Education, Workforce, and Skills Alignment

  • Discover how education and workforce initiatives can be aligned to create meaningful career paths and strengthen local economies.

4. Building Resilient Futures: Infrastructure, Environment, and Community Prosperity

  • Examine how investments in infrastructure and environmental resilience can foster long-term community prosperity, support climate goals, and create quality local jobs.

Optional Pre-Summit Tour: Northrop Grumman Palmdale Facility

When registering for the summit, you will see the option to select the Northrop Grumman Facility Tour as a breakout session. By checking this option, you will be considered for a reserved spot on the tour.

Details:

  • Capacity: ~25 attendees; first-come, first-served
  • Eligibility: Priority for elected officials and one senior staff designee
  • Security Requirements: Government-issued photo ID required (driver’s license or passport). Attendees must provide their full legal name and organization/office during registration.
  • Attire: Closed-toe shoes required; business/field-appropriate attire recommended
  • Transportation: No shuttle provided; participants must travel directly to Palmdale and then continue to AVC for the Summit by 10:30 AM
