Deidre Lind is an award-winning philanthropic leader and civic partnership expert best known as the founding president and CEO of the Mayor’s Fund for Los Angeles, which she co-founded in 2014 and built into a major public-private platform that raised over $100 million for city initiatives and emergency responses, including COVID-19 relief. Over more than two decades, she has led corporate social responsibility and philanthropy efforts as Mattel’s chief global social impact strategist, president of the Pfaffinger Foundation, and founding executive director of the California Volunteers Fund, and she now advises companies, governments, and nonprofits on social impact through her firm A Better Impact while serving on boards including Accelerator for America Action, the Social Impact Fund, and LA’s BEST.
