The Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation produces an annual Economic Forecast to assess and predict key national, state, regional, and local economic indicators and look beneath those “headline” indicators at more profound and more detailed trends. Our forecasts focus on key issues, pressing economic concerns, and longer-term trends at the local, state, and national levels.

This year our economy continues its transition to post-pandemic, and 2022 portends to be a year of change as our economy continues to recover from and adapt to the disruption caused by COVID-19.
