Lisa Mae is the Founder of Wonder Women Tech, a conference and online platform that highlights, celebrates and educates women in tech, STEAM and innovation. She is also Founder of Hacks 4 Humanity, a hackathon for Social Good, and Wonder Women Hacks, a predominately female attended hackathon which builds mobile apps to benefit women and girls. Lisa Mae is a Creative Visionary, & Social Innovator that is committed to impacting humanity on a global scale. As CEO of EqualityTV, a digital media and e-commerce platform highlighting marginalized and underrepresented communities, and founder of various social campaigns like the ‘Love, Hugs and Inspiration Campaign’, and ’40 Days of Kindness’, she is no stranger to the art of social innovation. She is passionate about diversity and inclusion in the workplace, human rights, and issues surrounding gender equality, LGBTQ rights, and racial equality. She is involved with several nonprofit organizations and was on the Board of Directors for the Alcoholism Center for Women. She is on the Advisory Board for the California Women’s Conference and speaks at conferences, schools, community centers, and other organizations. Lisa Mae has consulted various individuals, event initiatives, and companies on how to include more diversity in their programming and workplace, and how to build products that cater to women and minorities. In 2015 Lisa Mae worked with the U.S. Department of State to help organize the first annual Fishackathon in Long Beach. She will also co-produce the 2016 Long Beach Fishackathon Earth Day Weekend. As a visionary, Lisa Mae is passionate about changing the world and building a new ecosystem in media and technology. On sunny days you will find her skipping in public and hugging strangers!
