DOE Announces New Webinars on Solar Permitting and Planning, the Advanced Rooftop Unit Campaign, and More

The Energy Department will present a live webcast titled “Innovation and Success in Organizing and Strategizing a Local Solar Effort” on Friday, June 14, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. The webcast will provide an overview of the Solar Ready KC project, an effort that united five local governments and the Kansas City metropolitan area’s largest electric utility to implement solar-friendly best management practices to streamline solar permitting and planning processes. Register to attend the webinar.

The Energy Department will also present a live webinar titled “Overview of the Advanced RTU Campaign” on Monday, June 17, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. This webinar will provide a review of strategies that businesses have used to implement high-efficiency HVAC rooftop unit (RTU) technology in their buildings and will give an introduction to the Advanced RTU Campaign. Register to attend the webinar.
