The LAEDC is conducting work to foster success and growth of the bioscience industry cluster in the L.A. County region, with the express purpose of job creation and future economic development of the region, to help our economy and its workforce meet the challenges of the next 20 years and beyond. To implement this work, the LAEDC is centrally coordinating a diverse group of organizations with knowledge and expertise in regional bioscience industry cluster capacity-building, including, BioCom, BioAccel, Keck Graduate Institute, CommonWeal, Collaborative Economics and others.
