James DibboAs VP & CFO, BT Americas, James is responsible for the financial performance of all BT’s operations managed from the US and Canada.
 
This includes the Global Indirect Channel, which covers BT’s worldwide sales via non-owned distributors, and the Global Financial Services sector which covers their largest finance sector customers including Reuters, BT’s largest global customer.

Prior to re-locating to the US in 2006, James was VP Finance, Strategy & Business Development responsible for strategy and business planning and the financial aspects of mergers and acquisitions for BT Global Services (BTGS).

James has extensive experience in M&A, post-merger integration and turnaround situations. He is a proven leader having managed teams based across EMEA, Asia Pacific and the Americas supporting global operations and driving radical improvements in business performance. He has also spent significant time in non-finance and customer facing roles as a portfolio commercial manager, a product manager and Executive Assistant to the BT plc Group Managing Director.

Prior to BT, James worked in the business recovery and insolvency practice of Coopers & Lybrand, London where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

He has a degree in Economics. He is married with two daughters and lives in Los Angeles, California.

BT has been operating in the US for 20 years and having successfully integrated 4 acquisitions in the last 3 years, now has more than 4,000 professionals serving over 1,000 customers including 60% of the Fortune 500. Major customers include Microsoft, PepsiCo, American Express, Continental Airlines and Bristol Myers Squibb. 90% of traders on the NYSE use BT's voice trading technology.

In addition to providing their customers with BT's full range of infrastructure, outsourcing, contact centre and mobility services, they are recognised as a market leader in the provision of managed security services offering the broadest, most flexible range of services available including consulting, device management and monitoring.

The recent acquisition of Wire One builds upon BT’s existing strength in voice and video conferencing to firmly establish them as the market leader in managed video services in the US.
