EVENT DETAILS: At the February 7th meeting of the LAEDC Water Subgroup, we will continue our discussion on policy recommendations for 2013 and outreach for the recent water supply reliability study. Our discussion on policy recommendations will rely in large part on findings from the recently released study, which was commissioned by members of the LAEDC Water Subgroup, titled “Total Regional Economic Losses from Water Supply Disruptions to the Los Angeles County Economy.”
MISSION: The Water Subgroup is part of the LAEDC’s larger Infrastructure Committee and works to promote initiatives that ensure a reliable supply of clean and affordable water through the implementation of a portfolio of environmentally-sound strategies including conservation, storm water capture, recycling and groundwater storage that protect Southern California water supplies.
Chair: Ed Casey, Partner at Alston & Bird LLP.
