About the Conference
Each year CALED presents California’s largest economic development conference designed to train attendees to implement effective practices to assist businesses and grow local economies. As communities are dealing with the loss of redevelopment, it is time for us to move onward and upward to identify ways of moving local economic development forward. This year’s conference is focused on how to fund economic development, best practice models, policy, and professional development. Additionally, we will have engaging networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities.

About CALED
The California Association for Local Economic Development (CALED) is California’s premier economic development association. With over 750 members, it is one of the largest economic development associations in the country, which is why we refer to our membership as California’s Economic Development Network. Since 1980, when it was created, CALED has lead the way in teaching economic developers, local elected officials, and state representatives the value of economic development, and how it is used to create quality jobs, help businesses, and generate revenue to support community development programs.
