The LAEDC is proud to honor famed real estate developer Rick Caruso at the 13th Annual Eddy Awards®. He is known for creating lifestyle centers such as the Grove in Los Angeles and the newly-opened Americana at Brand in Glendale which attracts millions of visitors to L.A. County.
Mr. Caruso has redefined the retail experience and his commitment to developing high-quality retail centers that push the bounds of the industry has earned him numerous awards and recognition including "Developer of the Year," "Humanitarian of the Year," and "Man of the Year" to name just a few.
He has earned a reputation as an extraordinary businessman and a compassionate member of the community. In addition to his many achievements, Mr. Caruso was the youngest Commissioner for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power and also served as President of the Los Angeles Police commission.
